Vasanta Group advances 12-hectare Mawatu coastal township in Labuan Bajo

Labuan Bajo — Property developer Vasanta Group is promoting Mawatu, a planned integrated coastal township at Pantai Batu Cermin in Labuan Bajo, positioning the 12-hectare site as a new urban and tourism hub for the area’s growing visitor economy.

According to Vasanta Group’s project information, Mawatu is conceived as a “living town center” that brings together commerce, culture and community within an integrated coastal development in Batu Cermin, about 10 minutes from Komodo Airport by road. Company materials describe the township as part of a broader push to support sustainable blue-economy activities while protecting marine and cultural ecosystems and strengthening local livelihoods.
