PLN Cleans Ropa Bay Insulators at Ende Substation

Ende — PT PLN (Persero), through the Daily Maintenance Team of the East Flores Transmission and Substation Service Unit, completed maintenance and insulator cleaning at the Ropa bay of the Ende substation on Thursday, 8 October 2026. The work was reported on 9 October 2026.

The team cleaned the surfaces of the glass insulators at the Ropa bay to remove dust and dirt. PLN said the work was intended to keep the transmission equipment's insulation functioning optimally and support electricity supply reliability across Flores.

The maintenance was carried out by the HAR ULTG Flores Timur team. The work was classified as high risk and followed standard operating procedures and occupational health and safety requirements.
