Labuan Bajo — Bank NTT’s Labuan Bajo branch has provided Rp200 million in corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding to the Manggarai Barat Regency Government to support public-service facilities, according to local media reports published on 15 September 2026.

The funding was handed over symbolically at the regent’s office in Labuan Bajo. Branch head Boy Reynaldo Nunuhitu presented the CSR support to Manggarai Barat Regent Edistasius Endi, the reports said.

Both outlets reported the total value of the contribution as Rp200 million and identified it as CSR funding from Bank NTT’s Labuan Bajo branch for the regency government.

  • Amount: Rp200 million
  • Provider: Bank NTT, Labuan Bajo branch
  • Recipient: Manggarai Barat Regency Government
  • Purpose: Public-service facilities and infrastructure
  • Handover date: Mid-September 2026 (as reported by local media)

Regent promises careful allocation

Regent Edistasius Endi said the regency would allocate the funds carefully to improve facilities that directly serve residents, according to Oke Flores. He was quoted as stressing that the priority is to make basic public facilities more comfortable and functional for the community.

Oke Flores reported that the relevant technical agencies within the regency government will map specific facilities, locations and an implementation timetable before spending the money. The outlet noted that these agencies are expected to determine how the allocation translates into concrete projects on the ground.

VoxNTT.com likewise reported that the funding is intended to support public-service facilities but did not specify which buildings or services will benefit. The article said more detailed planning will follow within the regency administration.

Bank NTT highlights partnership with local government

Branch head Boy Reynaldo Nunuhitu framed the contribution as part of Bank NTT’s commitment to supporting the local government and improving public services in Manggarai Barat. According to VoxNTT.com, he expressed hope that cooperation between Bank NTT and the regency would continue and deliver practical benefits to residents.

Endi thanked the bank on behalf of the regency government and Manggarai Barat’s residents, describing Bank NTT as a strategic partner in regional development, according to Oke Flores. The report said the regency welcomed the CSR support as a contribution to improving public-service infrastructure.

While the Rp200 million allocation is clearly identified, the reports did not state whether this contribution is a one-off or part of a broader, ongoing CSR programme by Bank NTT in Manggarai Barat.

Implementation details still to be set

Neither Oke Flores nor VoxNTT.com listed the specific public facilities that will receive funding or the type of works to be financed. The reports did not state whether the money will be used for new construction, renovation, equipment purchases or other kinds of infrastructure investment.

Oke Flores reported that technical units within the regency government will conduct further mapping and planning to identify target facilities and schedule implementation. VoxNTT.com similarly indicated that follow-up steps inside the administration will determine how and when the funding is used.

As of mid-September 2026, the CSR support has been formally handed over and acknowledged by both the bank and the regency government. Detailed project lists, procurement processes and completion timelines are expected to emerge once the responsible agencies conclude their planning.
