Labuan Bajo — BMKG’s maritime tourism service lists weather information for seven marine-tourism locations around Labuan Bajo, with the page updated on 19 October 2026. The service covers Pulau Sabolo, Pulau Rinca, Pulau Padar, Gili Lawalaut, Pulau Papagarang, Manta Point and Kanawa Island.

Visitors can select each destination to view its detailed marine-weather information. The service is provided through BMKG, Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency, and is intended to support checks of conditions before travel to the listed sites.

Why it matters to marine visitors

Weather conditions can differ between destinations in the Labuan Bajo marine area. A destination-specific forecast gives visitors a way to check the location they plan to visit rather than relying only on a general Labuan Bajo forecast.

The list includes the sites named in the proposed guidance for trips to Padar and Rinca, as well as Manta Point and Kanawa Island. It also includes Pulau Sabolo, Gili Lawalaut and Pulau Papagarang, making the service relevant to a range of marine-tourism routes from Labuan Bajo.

The BMKG page identifies the service as “Cuaca Wisata” and groups the locations under “Perairan Wisata Labuan Bajo 7 Lokasi”. Its destination entries provide access to further weather details for each listed location.

Visitors planning a marine trip can therefore use the BMKG service to check the relevant destination before departure and reassess conditions when planning routes among the listed locations.
