Ruteng — BMKG forecasts light rain in Ruteng and Labuan Bajo on Saturday, 31 October 2026. The outlook also covers Oelamasi, Ba'a, Kefamenanu, Soe, Alor, Waibaul, Tambolaka and Waikabubak in East Nusa Tenggara. The forecast identifies 10 locations in total, with Ruteng and Labuan Bajo specifically noted for light rain.
Labuan Bajo is the main gateway for visitors travelling to Komodo National Park, while Ruteng is a major inland centre in Flores. Rain in both locations may affect travel conditions, but the forecast does not state that transport services will be disrupted. It also does not provide a warning level or indicate that the national park has been closed.
The same outlook includes Oelamasi, Ba'a, Kefamenanu, Soe, Alor, Waibaul, Tambolaka and Waikabubak. These locations are part of the East Nusa Tenggara forecast alongside Ruteng and Labuan Bajo. The information describes the expected weather and does not add details about timing, rainfall intensity beyond light rain, transport operations or visitor access.
A separate BMKG-related report for 28 October 2026 also listed light-rain potential in Ba'a, Bajawa, Ruteng, Waibakul and Waikabubak. That earlier report does not independently confirm the 31 October forecast for Labuan Bajo and Ruteng. The current outlook therefore remains focused on the 10 locations named for Saturday, including the two locations highlighted at the beginning of the forecast.
