Kupang — Shopee Indonesia, through Shopee Farma, and the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) delivered medicines and medical equipment to evacuation posts in Ende, Manggarai and Ruteng, Nusa Tenggara Timur, for residents affected by the Flores earthquake.
The distribution was carried out in coordination with BNPB to match supplies with conditions and needs in the affected areas, according to Suara.com and RRI.co.id reports dated October 2-3, 2026.
The aid included paracetamol, oral rehydration salts, diarrhoea medicine and multivitamins. It also included portable nebulisers for acute respiratory problems, sterile medical gloves, wound-care sets and first-aid equipment.
Why it matters to readers
The three priority areas named in the reports are in Nusa Tenggara Timur, the province that includes Flores and is connected to regional travel and transport routes covered by this publication. Medical supplies are intended to support treatment during the emergency response and recovery period.
Satrya Pinandita, Shopee Indonesia's deputy director of corporate affairs, said the partnership addressed distribution difficulties affecting medicines and medical equipment. RRI.co.id reported that the supplies were sent directly to evacuation posts in Ende, Manggarai and Ruteng.
The reports did not state a further distribution schedule or a separate next step.
