PLN coordinates Oka Ile Ange geothermal plan in East Flores

Larantuka — PLN’s Nusa Tenggara construction unit met East Flores Regent Antonius Doni Dihen on Thursday, 24 September 2026, to coordinate development of the Oka Ile Ange geothermal working area.

The proposed Oka Ile Ange geothermal power plant has a planned capacity of 2 x 5 megawatts, according to the report. The meeting also covered preparations for socialisation with the regional government and local communities.

The meeting brought together the regent and his officials, officials from the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, PLN geothermal officials and staff from PLN’s Nusa Tenggara construction units.
