Komodo National Park adds 500 daily places for late 2026

Labuan Bajo — The Komodo National Park Authority (BTNK) has set a daily allocation of 500 visitors for Komodo National Park for September–December 2026, after the park’s 2026 quota was exhausted in August, according to reports published on 26 September.

BTNK said the additional allocation applies during the September–December period. The distribution may be adjusted periodically according to unused quota and cruise-ship capacity.

Why the quota matters to Komodo visitors

The rule affects access to Komodo National Park, where entry availability is managed through daily visitor allocations. Travellers planning visits during the final four months of 2026 face a limit of 500 visitors per day under the reported adjustment.
