Ruteng — The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) forecast for Saturday, 3 October 2026, says most of East Nusa Tenggara will be cloudy or heavily overcast. Ruteng may receive light rain during the afternoon.
The forecast covers 22 regencies and cities in East Nusa Tenggara. The report says cloudy conditions are expected across most of the province throughout the forecast period.
Why it matters for travel in Flores
Light rain in Ruteng could affect overland travel and outdoor plans in Flores on Saturday, according to the forecast report. The same report identifies Manggarai as an area requiring attention because of the potential for light rain.
BMKG’s Ruteng forecast page lists weather conditions for villages and urban areas in Ruteng, including Wae Belang and Cumbi. Its Saturday listing shows partly cloudy conditions for those locations, with temperatures of 17–24 °C in Wae Belang and 17–24 °C in Cumbi.
A separate RRI report says BMKG forecast possible fog in Ruteng, particularly during the early morning, alongside conditions ranging from clear to cloudy in East Nusa Tenggara at the start of October.
